Rainy Miller (VK) - echte naam Jack Bowes - maakte met Joseph, What Have You Done? een van de knapste albums van 2025. Zelf omschrijft Rainy Miller zijn esthetiek als northern gothic. 

Joseph, What Have You Done? verscheen op Millers eigenste label Fixed Abode, waarop hij geestesgenoten als Blackhaine - tijdens de vorige BRDCST-editie nog beangstigend straf - en Iceboy Violet onderdak biedt. 

Crack Magazine: “Rainy Miller’s sound is a smorgasbord of avant-garde abstraction, amorphous RnB, ambient, industrial, drill, and early grime.” Sleek Magazine: “His sound blends raw vulnerability with textured sonic landscapes.”  

Samenwerken deed hij reeds met Blood Orange, Actress, Mica Levi en Graham Sayle (High-Vis). Verrassend genoeg beschouwt hij als grootste invloed Jim White’s - overigens prachtig doorleefde - album Wrong-Eyed Jesus. Millers liveshows worden door Sleek Magazine omschreven als “intense, almost like installations”. 

Rainy Miller: “The shows for me are always going to be exactly what I need them for, they are hour-long periods of just, explosive self-expression, in order to actually extrapolate all of the physical and emotional reactivity to those memories I’ve made the music about.”
