Rainy Miller (UK), de son vrai nom Jack Bowes, a livré l’un des albums les plus remarquables de 2025 : Joseph, What Have You Done?. Miller décrit lui-même son esthétique comme northern gothic. 

Joseph, What Have You Done? est sorti sur son propre label Fixed Abode, qui héberge également des artistes proches de son univers, tels que Blackhaine – particulièrement impressionnant lors de la dernière édition de BRDCST – et Iceboy Violet. 

Crack Magazine : “Rainy Miller’s sound is a smorgasbord of avant-garde abstraction, amorphous RnB, ambient, industrial, drill, and early grime.” Sleek Magazine : “His sound blends raw vulnerability with textured sonic landscapes.”  

Rainy Miller a déjà collaboré avec Blood Orange, Actress, Mica Levi et Graham Sayle (High-Vis). Étonnamment, il considère l’album Wrong-Eyed Jesus de Jim White, d’ailleurs remarquablement incarné, comme son influence majeure. Sleek Magazine décrit les concerts de Miller comme “intense, almost like installations”. 

Rainy Miller: “The shows for me are always going to be exactly what I need them for, they are hour-long periods of just, explosive self-expression, in order to actually extrapolate all of the physical and emotional reactivity to those memories I’ve made the music about.”
