Album of the Week: I KNOW HOW NOW - GEZAN
One of our Sunday curator Ichiko Aoba’s great favs is undoubtedly the Japanese GEZAN, with whom she has a very special bond.
She, in fact, once formed the duo NUUAMM with frontman Mahito the People, a collaboration that resulted in two folk-oriented albums.
In addition, Aoba featured on their album Never End Roll (2021) and does so again on the freshly released new album ‘I KNOW HOW NOW’. She lends her voice to a euphoric highlight cut called ‘BEST DAY EVER’, and we’re sure Sunday 5 April, when both acts will play our festival, will be just that!
