Fauna presents Taiga Trans

“A hypnotic collision of krautrock pulse, psychedelic ritual, and underground rave energy. Think Goat meets Can.” (Glitterbeat Records)

Fauna is an eight-member collective from Gothenburg, Sweden, that has already captured attention with their debut singles Animalisk and Cirkel (both from 2023). They describe their sound as “an organic, psychedelic & dance friendly experience”.

A good indicator of their popularity is the bands that they’ve already opened for, such as Islandman, Föllakzoid, Bab L’ Bluz, Fulu Miziki, Waq Waq Kingdom and Goat. Personally, we hear a cross between BaBa ZuLa and Altın Gün.

Their addictive debut Taiga Trans is to be released in the spring of 2026 via the reputable Glitterbeat Records and is described by the label as “a hypnotic collision of krautrock pulse, psychedelic ritual, and underground rave energy. It radiates a multi-cultural, multi-dimensional sound and vision that feels equally rooted and otherworldly. Think Goat, Can and the dancefloor at its most transcendental”.

If you ask us: Fauna (SE) will be one of the festival revelations of 2026, with BRDCST (as well as Roadburn) as worthy early adopters and devotees.
This is a Liveurope concert: the first European initiative to support concert venues in promoting up-and-coming musical talent across Europe.
